It’s Mother’s Day in Thailand and I decided to come to King Rama 9 Park for a walk. I have been wanting to take a trip there but it’s just a little distant from main Bangkok that I am staying. It’s located in an area that looks totally different from the main Bangkok city, full of skyscrapers and heavy traffic everyday. The park is located in Srinakarin. Once I arrived there, my spirit was totally lifted up coupled with the great weather yesterday. The smell of fauna and flora emit a certain kind of vitamins that make you totally forget what’s outside of the garden. Totally refreshing and energising.

The park is dedicated to the former King of Thailand, King Bhumibol Rama 9. He is still a well-respected King till today. Yesterday was the birthday of his Queen, Queen Sirikit, which is also the kingdom’s Mother’s Day.

The park itself house a few key gardens and one of my favourites is this Chinese Garden. Once you stepped into this small arena of Chinese flair, it really feels like you have been transported to a street corner in China. I couldn’t help but kept snapping my iPhone to document this place.
The walk in the park had certainly made me feeling so relaxed and peaceful.
