Start of a new journey - Forest Therapy Guide

I am finally enrolled in the Forest Therapy Guide training organized by the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT) based in the United States. I am beginning to learn the approaches of the ANFT towards Shinrin Yoku or forest bathing and how it works for majority of the people. It’s been a wonderful experience so far and I also attended my first virtual forest therapy walk the past Saturday to see how a typical forest therapy is conducted. I have learnt a lot over the past couple of weeks and will continue to learn as much as I can.

Emotional and spiritual wellness is something that our society needs today. People are pre-occupied by the hassle of living and critical in need of time to look deeper into their being. This can be achieved through a combination of forest therapy and also spiritual renewal. The point is we need to get in touch with our inner being and find ourselves back in the midst of everything. We are not seeking for another form of escapism but a way to strengthen ourselves in this world with the help of the forest.
